When I founded The World We Want, I built on years of experience delivering disruptive, cross-sector campaigns aligned with the SDGs, combining strategy with storytelling to inspire action at scale.

With nearly a quarter of a century experience, I know that education and awareness are just the beginning — real impact comes from turning awareness into action. That’s the heart of our Storytelling 2.0 framework: blending consultancy, communications, creativity, and collaboration to drive change.

Highlights of our work:

  • Launched the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in India as the UN’s Global Goals India Director.
  • Delivered 90+ projects across 130+ countries, impacting 2.5 billion people.
  • Created the We Are Family campaign for WHO during COVID-19 to drive global solidarity through music.
  • Led partnerships and advocacy efforts across the Commonwealth’s 54 member states.
  • Advised youth- and women-led initiatives for the Museum for the United Nations (Sounds Right) and YOUNGA.
  • Supported cultural moments that drove policy change — like Pad Man, the first major feature film on menstruation, influencing legislation in India.

I mobilise capital to back bold, purpose-driven ideas — from advising governments on billion-dollar strategies to helping breakout founders close their Series A. I focus on equity, sustainability, and long-term systems change.

Over the years, I’ve raised and directed more than $450 million in impact investments, including $420 million for climate-smart agriculture and food systems through the $29.2B US-UAE led AIM for Climate initiative. This work spans everything from global policy initiatives to financing films like In The Shadows, the true story of boxing champion Ramla Ali.

I believe profit and purpose go hand in hand. Through ESG, sustainability, and CSR strategies, I help corporates embed real impact into their growth, turning environmental and social challenges into authentic opportunities.

As the driving force behind Sterling Global, a strategic consultancy established in 1995, I’ve delivered integrated communications and brand strategies across global markets. I’ve worked with large conglomerates and institutions like the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, promoting innovation, trade, and investment across 54 member states.

With strong networks across private investors, family offices, philanthropies, and institutional financiers, I bridge capital with opportunity, helping the right ideas scale and create lasting change.

I founded The World We Want Studios to harness storytelling as a force for cultural, social, and commercial transformation.

We produce bold, purpose-driven films and television content that don’t just entertain, they ignite dialogue, shift narratives, and inspire action. From Hollywood to India and beyond, our stories cross borders and expectations.

I work across the full value chain — from development to production to financing to marketing — backing stories with strong vision and global relevance. We’ve collaborated with some of the world’s most visionary talent — from Al Pacino and Jessica Chastain to Leonardo DiCaprio and boxing champion Ramla Ali — to bring powerful stories to life. Stories that move minds, markets, and culture.

As an impact storyteller, I’ve led global strategies for over 250 films and TV productions, delivered 50+ short films and PSAs for the UN and governments, and created campaigns that blend celebrity, culture, and powerful messaging to inspire real-world change.

We champion diverse voices, amplify women-led storytelling, and foster cross-cultural collaboration. Even when not framed as a ‘social issue’ film, every project we support is intentional — through inclusive casting, elevating underrepresented talent behind the camera, and embedding equity and purpose into the narrative.

The WWW Platform: Bridging Capital with Storytelling

Right now, I’m building a first-of-its-kind digital entertainment platform where storytelling becomes a catalyst for investment especially for innovators from the Global South and marginalised founders.

We connect innovators, investors, storytellers, and engaged citizens around a single idea: that the right story, backed by data and capital, can drive systemic change.

Think of it like the lovechild of Netflix, Kickstarter, where purpose-driven content doesn’t just raise awareness, it unlocks real funding and measurable outcomes for high-impact ventures, especially from the Global South and those by marginalised funders who are often overlooked by traditional investment systems.

At the heart of it is our proprietary Storytelling 2.0 model—blending media, AI, and investor intelligence to surface underfunded solutions and make them visible, credible, and investable.

We’re also building an Entertainment Investment Vehicle – giving film financiers and brands the chance to co-invest in content with both cultural and financial ROI.
